Terms of service

1. The service

brands.menu is operated by Almas Ousadas Unipessoal LDA, Lisbon, Portugal. It shows a brand's live touchpoints and the drafts people and AI agents propose, so a team can review, approve and launch them. Parts of the service are in early access and may change. We tell you before we remove something you rely on.

2. Your account and team

• You sign in with Google and are responsible for what happens under your account.
• The owner of a brand decides who joins it and with which role. Editors can change the brand and connect apps; viewers can look and comment.
• Keep invitations to people who should see the brand. Everything on a canvas is visible to every member.

3. Your content and connected apps

• You keep all rights to your brand content. You give us permission to store, copy and display it to the members of your brand and to the AI connectors you approve, only to run the service.
• Only connect stores, Klaviyo accounts and ad accounts you are allowed to use. Klaviyo is read only except when you mark an email Live, which saves a template and does not send it. Shopify is read only except when you mark a website page Live, which publishes that page on the store. Shopify notification HTML is not read from the API. If you paste it onto a card, we store that paste. A page test can publish two website pages and send new visitors to one or the other. A theme test duplicates the live theme as an unpublished copy, can edit colors and sections on that copy, and sends new visitors to the live theme or that copy on home, product, and similar paths. It does not publish the copy. It does not turn an ad on. New Meta ads from brands.menu are created paused. An owner can still resume an existing ad. Replace worst 50% also creates paused ads and leaves the old ones as they are.
• Shopify, Klaviyo, Meta, Google, Anthropic and OpenAI are separate services with their own terms. We are not responsible for their availability or for changes they make to what we can read.
• You can disconnect an app or delete a brand at any time from your account.

4. AI agents

When you connect Claude, ChatGPT or another AI client, it acts for you within the brands you picked: it can read the brand and push drafts for review. If you ask it to mark a website page Live, that publishes the page on your Shopify store. If you ask it to mark an email Live, that saves a Klaviyo template and does not send it. It never turns a Meta ad on. You are responsible for what you ask your AI to do and for checking its work before launch.

5. Credits, plans and payments

• The canvas and connected apps are free during early access. The AI ad generator uses credits, sold in packs through Stripe. Credits do not expire.
• If you subscribe to a plan, it is billed in advance each month or year and renews until you cancel. You can cancel or change your payment method from Billing and credits. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period.
• Payments are not refundable for partial periods or used credits, except where the law says otherwise. EU consumers keep their statutory rights.
• Prices include VAT where it applies. We tell you in advance before a price change affects a renewal.

6. Acceptable use

Do not use brands.menu to break the law or anyone's rights, to upload malware, to access brands or accounts that are not yours, to overload or probe the service, to resell it without our permission, or to generate misleading, hateful or infringing ads. We may suspend accounts that do.

7. Availability and liability

We work to keep brands.menu available and your data safe, but the service is provided as is, without guarantees that it will always be available or error free. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

8. Ending

You can stop using brands.menu and delete your brands at any time. We may end or suspend access for a serious breach of these terms, and we give notice where we reasonably can. After an account ends we delete its data as described in the privacy policy.

9. Law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of Portugal, and the courts of Lisbon have jurisdiction, without affecting consumer protections where you live. Questions: lauri.enckell@gmail.com or the support page.
